Julia Morris was born in England, where she grew up in a small village in the county of Hertfordshire, just a short drive from North London. During her youth she was rather sport obsessed, which aided her and eventually led to attaining a Basketball Scholarship to The University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Julia spent the next 6 years as a 2 sport athlete (Basketball and Soccer), enabling her to gain both her Bachelor degree in Psychology and Masters in Global Media and Communications.
It was here at Bridgeport that she met her soon to be husband, but was required to return to England after the expiration of her Student Visa. Julia, having previously spent time working in the service industry, embarked upon a career in Real Estate as she worked as a Sales Associate for a boutique North London Estate Agency. Gaining valuable experience in sales and helping clients attain their dream of home ownership in the highly sought after North London district, Julia realized her aptitude for learning new skills and her passion for service.
In early 2017, Julia moved back to the States and settled with her Georgia born husband in his hometown of Sharpsburg. Julia’s draw to the world of Real Estate, inevitably led her to become an Assistant to an emerging team, through which she later obtained her Georgia Real Estate License and transitioned to Listings Manager. Julia joined the deGolian family in July 2019, as Director of Operations, working alongside Roch and DeSales to launch DeGolian Realty as Peachtree City’s latest Boutique Brokerage.
Julia’s drive stems from her love of helping others, solving problems and offering assistance across the board. She embodies the team philosophy to a “T”, taking on tasks as required with the perseverance to find a solution no matter what. In her own words, her super-power is “Nerd! - I enjoy learning new things fast, analyzing new methods/technologies/practices, and teaching to others.” Which, in the world of real estate, is pretty much a never ending cycle of new technology, adjustments to contracts, and teachable scenarios daily!
As dog parents, Julia and her husband naturally have a very (un)healthy obsession over their little 9lb boy, Maverick! When they aren’t fussing over their mutt, they enjoy getting out onto the Golf Course, or playing some good old fashioned catch in the backyard. As mentioned, Julia is rather sport obsessed, and loves both watching and playing just about anything - including her beloved English Soccer team, Arsenal.
