Whilst the small Downtown of Sharpsburg is located just South of Hwy 34, between Peachtree City and Newnan, the town itself technically sprawls as far North as Northgate High School. This provides excellent access to i-85, making the North side of Sharpsburg an ideal area for commuters into Fulton County, and other Metro Atlanta areas. Sharpsburg is an idyllic mixture of old and new, with the Downtown dating back to the late 1800s, and larger subdivisions extending throughout the outer limits. In recent years there has been an influx of amenities including the new Costco, in addition to Canongate Golf Course and NCG Cinema, making this town a focal point in Coweta County.
